Before first use
• Sterilization: Before giving the pacifier to your baby for the first time, place it in boiling water for 5 minutes.
• Removing water: After boiling, allow the pacifier to cool and carefully squeeze any water out of the silicone part (the teat). This ensures complete hygiene.
Daily use and safety checks
• Inspection before each use: Before every use, carefully examine the pacifier and pull on it in all directions.
• Immediate replacement: Discard the pacifier at the first signs of damage, wear, or material deterioration (for example, if cracks or bite marks appear).
• Attachment: Use only specialized pacifier holders (clips/chains) that comply with safety standards. Never extend them using cords, ribbons, or wires, as these could wrap around the child's neck and pose a risk of strangulation.
• If the pacifier gets stuck: If the pacifier enters the child's mouth completely, do not panic. It is designed so that it cannot be swallowed, and the air holes on the sides allow for breathing. Remove it from the mouth as carefully and calmly as possible.
