Looking for a reliable baby bath for your newborn? The grey Maltex Baby bath, featuring an anti-slip mat and a water drain, provides everything you need for easy daily care.
Key product features:
• Safety first: The base of the bath includes an integrated anti-slip mat, which helps keep your baby secure during bathing and prevents them from sliding.
• Convenient draining: Equipped with a built-in drain plug, allowing you to empty the water easily and effortlessly after bath time—no need to lift the heavy tub.
• Ergonomic design: The edges of the bath feature two dedicated recesses for soap, a sponge, or other bathing accessories.
• Safe materials: Made from high-quality polypropylene that is free from Bisphenol A (BPA) and completely safe for a baby’s delicate skin.

Technical specifications:
• Material: High-quality polypropylene (PP). It is durable, easy to clean, and—most importantly—free from Bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates, making it completely safe for a baby’s delicate skin.
• Length: 84 cm (outer edge).
• Width: 48 cm.
• Height: 28 cm. Thanks to these dimensions, the baby bath is compact enough to fit into most standard adult bathtubs or on a shower tray, while still providing ample space for a baby up to approximately 12 months old.

Safety rules:
• Never leave a baby unattended in the bath! A child can drown in even very shallow water (just a few centimeters deep) within a matter of seconds. If you need to answer a call or leave the room, take the child with you.
• Check the water temperature: The ideal water temperature for bathing a baby is 36°C–37°C (body temperature). Always check it using a dedicated water thermometer or the inside of your elbow before placing the child in the water.
• Water level: For a newborn, the water level should not exceed 5–8 cm (roughly reaching the baby’s hips when lying in the bath). The child’s head and chest must remain safely above the water.
• Order of filling: Pour cold water into the bath first, then add hot water, mixing it thoroughly to ensure there are no hot spots.
• Stable surface: Place the bath only on a stable, level, and firm surface. • If using a stand: Ensure that the stand is fully opened, locked, and specifically designed for this size of baby bath (84 cm). Never place the baby bath on unstable tables or chairs.
• Hazards in the vicinity: Place the baby bath away from electrical appliances, cords, heated towel rails, and shelves from which objects could fall.
• During bathing, always keep one hand under the baby’s head and shoulders to provide support—even if you are using a special bath insert or foam support.
• Prepare everything in advance: Before you begin bathing, have a towel, soap, clean clothes, and a diaper within easy reach (so you can access them without taking your eyes off the baby).
• Moving the bath: Never move or carry the baby bath while the baby is inside it or while it is filled with hot water.
